The Maternity and Newborn Session

The session fee covers optional pre-session consultations, photographer’s time, photo editing, proofing, gallery assembly and gallery expenses, it does not include prints. These fees are non-refundable and due at the time of booking to secure your appointment. Cancellations must be made at least five days before your session in order to apply your session fee to another date. I am normally booked 4-6 weeks in advance so please be sure to schedule your appointment as soon as you can. As a mom I know that emergencies and sick kids happen, this will be taken into consideration. Fees will be forfeited if more than one cancellation is made for the same session.

The Newborn Consideration: A baby comes when a baby comes! If you pass your due date and get within three days of our session, simply contact me to reschedule. I only schedule a few newborns due within the same time period to ensure my availability; this is why it is so important to book your session as soon as possible.

Maternity: Schedule your maternity session between 33 and 38 weeks.
Our maternity session is a wonderful way to celebrate the new life you are creating. We offer three different session options to best suite your needs. All maternity portraits are taken in my home studio unless other arrangements are made.
Within two weeks after your photo session, I will send you a link and password to your private online gallery. Your gallery will be available for two weeks, if you need more time to choose, an additional charge of $25.00 per week will be added. The exception to this is if you book the Newborn and Maternity together, in which case the two week count will begin when your newborn gallery was made available.

Newborn and Maternity Sessions usually result in anywhere between 20 and 50 final gallery images depending on the session you choose. You are welcome to share your link with family and friends.


The Maternity Sessions:

Welcome to our Family $125.00 2-3 hours 10% Discount when booked with a The Newborn Session

Daddy and kids want to come too? This session is a family event! Our "Welcome to the Family" Session includes individual portraits of Mom as well as family, daddy and children with mommy. This works best to have your family with you for the first one-to-two hours or so, and then have Dad and kids step out for an additional hour for just mommy and that beautiful belly. But, we can work the time out how ever best suites you and your family.

Mommy and Me $75.00 1 Hour

This session is just for the Mommy-to-be or the Mom who just wants a quick, relaxing documentation of this fleeting moment in motherhood.

The Baby Bump $50.00 1 Hour

This is an add on "Mommy and Me" session to a scheduled Newborn Session.


Our Newborn Session $125.00 2-4 Hours (Depending on how cooperative our little one is) 30-40 Proofs.

We accept newborns in their first two weeks of life when they are still womb shaped and their perfect newness is most easily captured. Please schedule your newborn session before your due date to ensure that I will be available for your session during your little one's first two weeks.

“Bump” this session up a notch and add a maternity prequel session for only $50.00. I truly wish I would have done a double session like this myself, these are the briefest moments of their lives lasting only days and the beauty of pre-motherhood is soon forgotten.

It is often easiest for baby and mommy for the session to take place in your home. Taking photos in your natural setting adds a personal touch and people are often more comfortable in their personal space. I don’t need much room, I’ll bring props and backdrops and a light just in case available light is not optimal. If you choose to have the session take place in your home I will go over what I will need and what you can expect in more detail.

My home studio is available to you if you are more comfortable coming here. I will go over what you should bring if this is the option you choose.

What better way to hand out information for playdates than with an adorable Mommy Calling Card? No more grabbing for a piece of scrap paper and pen, cards contain all your pertinent information, a must have for the mommy and baby on the go! Also, great to have if your little one gets separated from you at the store, this is scary, I know from experience! To have a recent photo of your child/children handy with your contact info is really helpful to store personal looking for your child.
